A professional tailor since 2010, Boubacar Kansaye has built his reputation in Malian haute couture by overcoming his physical disability with tenacity and talent. A member of the Association of Professional Tailors of Commune V, he now runs BK Couture with three employees, two temporary staff members, and more than three apprentices. His workshop specializes in high-quality African tailoring: large boubous, women’s and children’s clothing. A journey that illustrates the power of perseverance and the importance of inclusion in artisanal entrepreneurship.
