Carlitos Lopes Pintos’ ETU training centre (Charles School) is located in Zona 7 – Alto Bandim and was founded in 2005 without any financial aid, using other schools’ rooms to start an English course with the participation of a minimum number of students. Thanks to the project ”Bo fia Bo pudi”, the school offers now 15 language courses to 150 student through 9 professors. Thanks to Carlos’ initiative and competences, new innovative services were created: in addition to the traditional language courses, today the school offers multilingual learning lessons (in which the smallest children can simultaneously learn English, French and Portuguese) and a professional translation service. Moreover, it’s possible to enrol to intensive courses taught in the weekends, which also allows workers to attend; private lessons at home are also offered.
