Through his sculpture, Augusto Bandeira promotes and protects ethnic, cultural and landscape variety of Guinea-Bissau: every piece is a work of art fraught with symbolic meaning of the different cultures present in the territory. Augusto and his 7 employees try through their work to preserve cultural memory promoting tourism and encouraging national economy. Augusto has been trying to become an entrepreneur and to reach his own autonomy for many years but he was never able to maintain himself through his job despite his huge skills. Thanks to the project he was able to open sale point in S.Paulo neighborhood never had before. He’s now improving his activity exposing his master pieces in the best hotels in Bissau and in Bijagos Islands.
