Who I am
I’m 25 years old. I graduated in Modern Literature at the Human Humanities University of Bamako. Ex-collaborator of the newspapers “Le Flambeau”, “La Nouvelle Patrie”, “Mondafrique” (Paris) and co-founder of the newspaper “Le Pays”. I worked for the “Journal du Mali” and “L’Hebdo Journal du Mali” (between 2014 and 2017), “Les Echos”, “The Maghreb and East Mail” and “Sahelien.com”. Between 2015 and 2016 I was an assistant in the Department of French Studies at Bates College in the state of Maine (USA University), where I also attended a political science course.
Since 2012, I have enlisted the blog L’Etudiant Malien on the Mondoblog platform of Radio France International (RFI). I am the author of two books: “Being a student in Mali” (Sahélienne editions, 2016) and “O crepúsculo” (Edilivre, 2015). Currently, I am a researcher at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), based in West Africa is located in Dakar and I collaborate with “Le Monde Afrique” (Paris).
