Eli Albino Ié’s tailor’s shop aims to be a uniform tailoring enterprise for religious and education institutions for the city of Bissau, working at the same time producing clothing upon request of private citizens. In Guinea-Bissau the clothing production market is still at its early stages, especially regarding the creation and wrapping. Through his work, Eli also offers support and help to a big national organization, producting clothes for the poorest kids of the country, also employing women that suffered abused. Eli’s workshop is located in Bairro Military neighborhood, where she works with 11 collaborators; their main products are t-shirts, pants and skirts made with quality materials.
